Pit LeBrun has always been interested in athletics, participating to his fullest in every sport in which he became involved. Throughout his school years, Pit always placed high value on academic achievement.

5 years undefeated regular season Pop Warner with 5 teammates who eventually played Div. 1 ball.

Played 4 years as a Pirate, Established as a leader and Team Captain. 

Participated and led teammates in prayer before games, led team in tackles as a senior.

Advanced to Nationals twice, winning the USA title in 1992 at 147 lbs., which qualified him to represent the USA in the world championship in Oct 92 in Montreal Canada losing to the Russian after suffering a nose injury

Selected to and competed on the Select Evander Holyfield Team.  

His goal was to represent the USA in the Olympic 96 Atlanta games.

Attended all 3 United States Olympic Training Centers

Attended USA-ABF All-comers’ Camp in Lake Placid, NY – Summer 1990

He was serving a second 2 year term (elected) as an athlete representative on the board of directors of the Florida Association of USA BOXING, Inc.

Florida Association USA Boxing awards to the most outstanding boxer of the yearly tournament the "JEAN PIT LEBRUN, JR. MEMORIAL AWARD”.
